    Description

    What a cool piece! Authentic Venetian Gold Zecchino. Looks hammered! Struck between 1789-1797, nearly UNC, but yes, a tiny hole as many European gold coins expressed loyalty to the leaders in this case the Doge of Venice.  Christ depicted on the reverse and possible Saint Mark on the obverse as he was the patron Saint of Venice.  Over 0 melt alone!
